Important wellness notice: Calm Reset supports relaxation and general self-care. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or an emergency service.
1. Agreement and provider
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Calm Reset, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Calm Reset is provided by I.Fargutu, an individual developer trading as Calm Reset (“Calm Reset,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms supplement that agreement. If a mandatory Apple term conflicts with these Terms, the applicable Apple term controls to the extent of the conflict.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. Calm Reset is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the app only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
3. The Calm Reset service
Calm Reset may provide guided calm scripts, breathing or grounding rituals, ambient sounds, reflective cards, Daily Light content, journaling, saved items, and other wellness experiences. Features and content may vary by version, device, country, subscription status, and availability.
No account is currently required. Some content and preferences are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any backups you choose to use.
4. Not medical advice or emergency support
The app is for general informational, relaxation, and self-care purposes only. It does not provide medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or a professional relationship. Do not rely on the app as a substitute for advice from a qualified health professional.
If you believe you may be in danger, may harm yourself or another person, or are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, stop using the app and contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service immediately.
Breathing, sound, and relaxation practices may not be suitable for everyone. Stop an activity if you feel unwell, dizzy, distressed, or unsafe, and seek appropriate professional advice.
5. Premium subscription
Calm Reset may offer an auto-renewable Premium subscription through Apple’s App Store. The exact price, billing period, currency, included features, and any offer terms are displayed before purchase and may vary by storefront.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it through your Apple ID subscription settings before the end of the current billing period.
- Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment methods under its applicable terms.
- Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
- You can use “Restore Purchases” in the app to request restoration of eligible App Store purchases.
You can manage subscriptions at Apple’s subscription management page. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
6. Free and Premium content
We may change which content is free or requires Premium, add or remove content, or update features over time. We will not intentionally remove access to an active paid entitlement except where required for security, legal compliance, service discontinuation, or enforcement of these Terms. Subscription benefits are those shown in the app at the time of purchase, subject to reasonable updates and availability.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, sell, sublicense, publicly distribute, scrape, or commercially exploit app content except where the app provides a sharing feature;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, damage, bypass, or attempt unauthorized access to the app, subscription controls, servers, or security features, except where applicable law expressly permits;
- use the app for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful purposes;
- misrepresent your relationship with Calm Reset or use our branding without permission;
- upload or send malicious code, unlawful content, or another person’s private information through support channels.
8. Your journal and saved content
You retain rights in text you create. Journal entries and reflections are intended to remain locally on your device. You are responsible for what you write and for protecting access to your device. We are not responsible for local data lost because of device loss, app deletion, operating-system behavior, corruption, or lack of backup.
9. Intellectual property
The app, brand, interface, illustrations, audio, scripts, cards, text, software, and other materials are owned by Calm Reset or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and the applicable Apple license, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for private, non-commercial purposes.
Any sharing tool authorizes you to share only the generated output in the manner offered by the app. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, templates, audio, brand, or content library.
10. Third-party services
The app relies on services provided by Apple and RevenueCat for distribution, purchases, subscription validation, and entitlements. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Calm Reset available and reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, discontinue, or modify features and content for maintenance, security, legal, commercial, or technical reasons. Device settings, network access, App Store availability, and operating-system changes may affect functionality.
12. Feedback
If you send ideas or feedback, you grant us permission to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission. Do not send confidential information through feedback.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calm Reset is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the app will achieve a particular emotional, sleep, health, or wellness outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calm Reset and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss arising from reliance on wellness content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Calm Reset during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50 (or the equivalent in local currency).
This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.
15. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to reimburse reasonable losses and costs resulting from your unlawful use of the app, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security threats, fraud, material breaches, or legal requirements. Termination does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; you must cancel through Apple.
17. Governing law and consumers
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ljubljana will have jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer-protection rules may allow you to bring a claim in your place of residence or require a different law or forum. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted by mandatory consumer law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the app, subscriptions, law, or our operations. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when legally required. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where affirmative consent is required.
19. General terms
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a lawful business transfer. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the applicable Apple license constitute the agreement concerning your use of Calm Reset.
